From 2024-2026, I led the development and execution of four online courses on integrating GenAI into the classroom:
- Break Through AI Bias to Analyze and Create Media
- Copyright, Fair Use & AI: A Guide for Educators
- Outsmart AI to Spot Misinformation and Evaluate Sources
- Partner with GenAI to Elevate Authentic Student Voice

Here’s a sample lesson I produced on how to customize a chatbot to provide structured feedback to students, created in Articulate Storyline.
I have led in-person and online workshops on GenAI for education, including for the California School Library Association and the Santa Clara County Office of Education.

I helped draft and author KQED’s “Guidelines for the Responsible Use of Generative AI,” also known as the “Creator Compass for GenAI.” These guidelines offer a practical framework for any educator to use when considering whether and how to use GenAI tools in their teaching.
