I love public speaking and facilitating workshops! I’ve had the honor of presenting and facilitating at a wide range of venues and events, from officials at the International Criminal Court in the Hague to at-risk teens in Brooklyn.
As part of the professional development team at KQED Education, I led both in-person and online workshops, trainings, and presentations for K-12 educators, administrators and general audiences. As a former teacher, getting to engage with my colleagues and support them in their professional journeys was one of the best parts of my job.

I pride myself on being an enthusiastic and engaging presenter. I view workshops as not only opportunities to impart knowledge but also to spread positive energy and motivation to the participants.
Getting to work with young people keeps me grounded in my practice. I had the pleasure of leading two workshop series for the Boys and Girls Club of San Leandro in 2025, supporting teens in creating their first photo essays and audio stories that were later shared on KQED’s Youth Media Challenge.
