Host a Climate Game Jam at Your Site October 2-4!

Team working

During the weekend of October 2-4, sites around the country are going to take part in the first nation-wide Climate Game Jam, an effort to get lots of people designing games that communicate climate science and spur the players to fight climate change. A partnership of NOAA, the White Office of Science and Technology Policy, the Smithsonian Institute, the California Academy of Sciences, and others, we welcome science centers, museums, community center, schools, and more to host a climate game jam with your constituents that weekend.

It's easy to host a local jam at your site. All you need is a physical space, internet access, power strips, and food and drink to keep people going. You can learn more on this FAQ.

There will be prizes for the best game prototypes. But mostly we hope it just gets lots of people thinking creatively and positively about responding to climate change.
