Does Making Belong in Museums? Experts from AMNH, Pittsburgh Childrens & Lawrence Hall of Science Weigh In

Making at FM

Okay, it took awhile to get out episode three of our podcast "Object Oriented," but we are pretty excited about this one. In this episode, Eve, Barry and tackle one of the most exciting new trends in museums and other learning institutions: the Maker Movement.

I begin with the basic but complicated question of whether or not making belongs in science-focused museums and centers. We invite three awesome guests from the New York Hall of Science, the Pittsburgh Children's Museum and the Lawrence Hall of Science to give us their experiences and insights with making at their institutions.

We hope this show inspires and clarifies making in various learning spaces. We certainly enjoyed producing the show!
