Tomorrow, Wednesday September 2, I’m excited to lead an online info session for teachers on the PBS Media Literacy Educator Certification by KQED. I’ll be talking about why media literacy is so important for all teachers to be including in their lessons and how the PBS Certification can help them best integrate this subject into their classrooms.
I’m particularly keen to talk to teachers about how to best prepare students to analyze and evaluate information that comes across their social feeds, a necessary survival skills in our media-saturated world.
I’ll also showcase all the cool stuff that teachers are doing to integrate media into their teaching, particularly in this time of remote learning. So many inspiring examples.
