New Planetarium Show “Incoming!” featuring George “Mr. Sulu” Takei

I'm so excited to share the news that the California Academy of Sciences is unveiling our latest planetarium show on March 11, "Incoming!" The full-dome presentation tells the story of how asteroids and comets have collided with our planet throughout its history and have dramatically shaped live on earth. 

It's a really great science show and it features a narrator that all scifi geeks should swoon over — George "Mr. Sulu" Takei. George Takei of course played the iconic role of Lt. Hikaru Sulu on the original "Star Trek" television series, and several movie adaptations afterwards. Takei has one of the most recognizable and melodious baritone voices out there, which should really add to the immersive experience of the planetarium show. (As of press time it was unknown whether or not he will be saying "Oh MYYYY" as a glittery comet streaks by.)
