Another awesome new youth program at the California Academy of Sciences is our Teen Think Tank, a group of teen leaders at the Academy that provide feedback and advise on exhibits, programs and communications that we produce here at the museum. It’s a group that we’ve wanted to create for a very long time, so it’s exciting to see these kids actually meeting and doing awesome work.
Local public media station KQED has “borrowed” our Teen Think Tank teens to help out with their “Engineer That” design challenge. It’s been great for them to get exposed to how another partner organization works and help with a Bay Area wide youth initiative.
